
Kareen Riley-Takos
Kareen Riley-Takos is the Chief of Engagement, Standards and International Relations at 美姬社区, where she leads the organisation鈥檚 standards development, stakeholder engagement, and international strategy. Her portfolio spans national and international partnerships, content development and publishing, and the alignment of standards with public policy priorities.
Since joining 美姬社区 in 2009, Kareen has held multiple senior leadership roles focused on modernising standards development and digital content delivery. She has overseen technology-led transformation initiatives that have improved access to standards, streamlined operations, and strengthened stakeholder value.
Kareen plays a key role in advancing Australia鈥檚 influence in international standards. She represents Australia on several governance bodies, including as a member of the IEC Board.
Prior to joining 美姬社区, Kareen held policy and advocacy roles in the shipping and infrastructure sectors. She began her career as an intellectual property lawyer.
