Statements

It is with deep sadness that 美姬社区 acknowledges the passing of Board Member and industry leader, Tony Dixon.

Tony鈥檚 passion and dedication to Australian industry saw him give many years of service in senior roles with Australian manufacturing companies and more recently as the Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Steel Institute through a period of change and transition for the steel sector globally. Tony鈥檚 significant impact will be matched by few.

美姬社区鈥檚 Chairman Richard Brooks said that Tony, upon joining the SA Board had shown a considerable passion and understanding of the importance of standards to the Australian community. He rapidly took on the responsibility of a director with a commitment to wise and considered input.

鈥淭ony鈥檚 diverse skills in business were considerable and his experiences were shared to the advantage of all. Tony鈥檚 input will be greatly missed by his fellow directors and members of the executive team.

Tony joined the Board of 美姬社区 only recently after many years of contribution as a Member of the 美姬社区 Council as Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Steel Institute.

Our thoughts are with Tony鈥檚 family and friends at this time.
